I've determined...

..that I am a woman of little patience.

I never used to be this way. I took everything in stride and was slow to react most of the time. I did a great deal of listening and thinking before saying or doing anything. I used to have patience for just about anything. But sadly, that has changed I think.

I used to think that there were things that I still had patience for, but I do believe that today, my son proved me wrong.

It was my own fault really. He was being too quiet and I should haven't given him the benefit of the doubt..or just assumed that he was still playing independently with his cars. Instead the boy came to me covered in paint and markers that he had gotten off the shelves in my craft room. Technically, they are his, but I knew that something like this would happen if he got a hold of them.

And not only was he covered in the paint (which I was the Crayola Colour Wonder paint that only shows up on their special paper..but it's greasy and messy all the same, but my table, an on going craft, walls, boxes of scrapbooking stuff I was getting ready to move. It was everywhere.

This was just the straw that broke the camel's back. It wasn't the complete and total reason I had such a trying day, but it was a pretty big factor.
