Bios have always been difficult for me to write. I never want to over-share. For all I know, you could be some crazy stalker person ;). The trick is to share just enough to draw a person in or, at least, keep them reading a little while longer. Who knows if I'll be able to accomplish that, because really, what's so interesting about a suburban wife and stay-at-home-mama of one? I can tell you..not all that much. But in any case, here you are and so I had best get on with it before you decide to leave without reading on.
Okay, so here's the goods. Most of you reading this already know me. But for those of you that don't, I'm a stay-at-home-mama of one tremendous 4 and a 1/2 year old son (whom I refer to as Critter, Bug, or O in this blog). He is the light of my life and I've been blessed to be able to stay at home with him as long as I have. It's been difficult on many levels, but it's brought many great and wonderful memories.
I'm married to a wonderful man, henceforth known as Big Daddy or BD for short. We've been together 14 years now. Eight of them we've spent in blissful (okay - sometimes not so blissful) matrimony. My family and I live in the wilds of Texas. Well..not really the wilds. It's more like the prairie..or..on the fringes of the prairie at least, north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (it sounded so much cooler when I said "the wilds of Texas" though, didn't it?).
I have plenty of hobbies: reading, writing, gardening, traveling, cooking, photography, genealogy, crafting, and all things outdoors just to name a few.
Soooo, if you're still here and reading..read on. Hopefully it won't be as painful for you as reading my little biography. If you're not still here, but moved on to something else, I say good riddance.
